WELLSBORO, PA — Susquehanna Health’s Spirit of Women kicks off Breast Health Awareness Month with “Mammos and Mocktinis,” a free evening of great appetizers, relaxation, music, shopping, prizes, and education.

Women are invited to come enjoy a festive mocktail, like the Pinktini, while learning about the importance of breast cancer awareness and empowering themselves with prevention and treatment options from Susquehanna Health providers on September 29, from 5:30–7 pm in Soldiers & Sailors Memorial Hospital’s Mountain Laurel Board Room (first floor). Pink attire is encouraged.

A limited number of mammograms will also be available to women at the event who are age 40+, have not had a mammogram in the previous year, are medically insured and have a primary care physician to review the mammogram report.

Seating is limited, and registration is required—even if you are already a Spirit of Women member. If you are not currently a member, joining Spirit of Women is required to attend, but membership is free and open to women of all ages.

In addition to fun, educational presentations on hot health topics throughout the year, members also receive free wellness screenings, invitations to Spirit events, and discounts from participating businesses.
