Ashley Johns Medical Update as of March 13, 2013.

Ashley has been moved into rehabilitation. Her doctors were able to further release pressure on her brain which has increased movement on both her left and right side. She was previously having more trouble with her left side. Ashley can use hand signals to say yes and no and can now identify colors and add numbers. She is also trying to form words with her mouth. The family is requesting urgent prayer for Ashley’s lungs to clear. She has recently been diagnosed with pneumonia and is having some trouble with nausea due to the use of antibiotics. It’s going to be a battle, but Ashley’s doctors are optimistic, believing she will fully recover. The Johns family would like to thank everyone for your prayers and support.

The benefit concert for Ashley will take place on Friday, March 21st at 7:00 PM in the Black Box Theater located in the Deane Center here in Wellsboro. Another way for you to support Ashley is to send her a note. Your words of encouragement will be read to Ashley by family and close friends. Maybe your children could make a card for Ashley? Your cards and letters will mean so much to her during this time of healing.
