Personal Profiles – Logan Faust

Southern Tioga School District student loves, art, music, and cats!

by Jill Nickerson - January 8, 2018

Today’s broadcast features a personal profile on one of the talented eighth-grade students attending North Penn – Mansfield. His name is Logan Faust. Logan is a passionate student with a dedication of going above and beyond. His love of art, music, and animals is shown through his accomplishments and contributions to his school and community.

Logan has recently begun using his art illustrations to create graphics on a computer program. Logan has been watching Youtube videos for years to improve his skills and finally decided to create his own. Since art is his favorite class in school, he created his own unique art folder using Egyptian hieroglyphs.

Logan also has a love for music. His father, who is the music teacher at North Penn – Mansfield, has been a direct influence on Logan’s passion for the arts. Music was a central part of their household growing up. He currently plays two instruments, the violin, and the trombone. He is a member of band and chorus for the North Penn – Mansfield school. During the second half of today’s broadcast, Logan treats us to a solo on his violin.

Logan strives to make his school and his community a better place. He volunteers at a local animal shelter where he takes 2 hours a week out his schedule to care for cats and dogs. He hopes to pursue a career that involves animals. Logan is a cat-man! That’s right. He loves cats.

Logan is an excellent example of the qualities that make a star student. He works hard to pursue his passions and gives back to his community. He is a significant piece of the positive culture being created at North Penn – Mansfield.
