MU Today – Allen Hall

by John Vogt - February 26, 2015

Today on Wellsboro Home Page we present the first edition of Mansfield University Today. This is a broadcast written and produced by Mansfield University for our Wellsboro Home Page viewers. It’s a pleasure to be able to work with Mansfield University to highlight the great things happening on campus.

Today’s feature focuses on Allen Hall and its history in the Mansfield community. Allen Hall is now one of the newest, high-tech buildings on campus. Mark Polonia discusses the rebirth of a building.

The original Allen Hall was built in 1926 and was the Mansfield High School for many years. It’s first graduating class was in 1927 and its last graduating class was in 1959. As years went by this building was used in many capacities.

But, all good things do come to an end. With the demolition and rebirth, a new high-tech Allen Hall was born. Faculty and students moved into a new building, a new direction, and a whole new mindset.

Don’t miss this special feature titled Mansfield University Today here on Wellsboro Home Page. Thanks for watching.
