North Penn-Mansfield baseball overpowers Sayre
The North Penn-Mansfield Tigers scored runs in bunches as they defeated Sayre in NTL cross-over baseball action on Friday, April 27.
Sayre came in with a 7-1 record before the Tigers knocked them off Friday afternoon.
The Tigers improve to 6-5 overall and 6-4 in the NTL Large School Division. The Tigers host Wyalusing on Wednesday, May 2 and travel to rival Wellsboro on Friday, May 4.

Child Abuse Prevention Event on the Green
The Green in Wellsboro went blue on Saturday (the 28th) for the “Event in the Green”. This gathering was put on by the Family Services Department of Tioga County. It’s purpose was to raise awareness of child abuse in our area, as well as provide information about child abuse prevention. Family Services has been working diligently throughout the last few weeks, as April was “Child Abuse Prevention Month”, with the color blue dedicated to the cause. The Event on the Green was a perfect way to cap off their busy and effective month!
