Rhonda Pearson

Operations Manager

Rhonda is the daughter of Thomas (Ricky) Word and Patricia (Pat) Word. She was born in Florida, but her dad was in the Air Force and traveled while she was young (to young to remember any of it), then her dad moved the family back to Arkansas where his family was living.

Rhonda grew up in Bearden, Arkansas a small town that if you blink you miss it. She graduated in the top 10% of her class and decided to go to college at the University of Central Arkansas in Conway, but it wasn’t for her. After a year of college and changing her major four times, Rhonda decided to let the military tell her what job she was qualified for and enlisted into the Navy in late 1991. She was a CECN in the Seabees with her first duty station in Brawdy, Wales. There, she met her husband of 28 years, Eric Pearson, whom was also in the Navy.

The Pearson’s are an ever-growing family, they have three kids: Zachary, Victoria and Kayden as well as our son-in-law James and our four precious granddaughters, Marcy, Luna, Lyndon, and Kinsley.

Journalism/Broadcasting was never on Rhonda’s radar as a career. Since working for The Home Page Network Rhonda has a new found appreciation for those in this industry, and what it takes to make something for others enjoyment, exciting and educating.
