Lasagna Invitational at Wyalusing High School
The High School and and Middle School Cross-country teams participated in the Lasagna Invitational at Wyalusing High School on Thursday.
The Girls placed 2nd in the meet with a score of 88, beating out Mansfield by one point. The Northeast Bradford girls won the meet with a final score of 41. Jada Jackson was the top finisher for the girls team finishing 5th with a time of 21:47.40. the rest of the finishers were Camryn Keane (24:25.00) Anna Bleggi (24:37.40) Annie Sweeney (24:37.10) Jordynn Coffee (25:25.10) Sammi Bailey (25:30.70) and Caitlynn Butler (27:13.40).
The High school boys got a look at the young team for the first time this year. Sophomore Captain Alden Weiner was the highest finisher in 31st with a time of 20:13.30. The rest of the finishers were Joey Messmer (22:07.80) Kyle Wilson (22:14.00) Conor Brought (22.19.50) Logan Morral (25:14.10) and Noah Smith (29:26.60).
In the Middle School races, the Wellsboro boys were third with 74 points and the girls were 4th with 87 points.
