“I feel overall we did pretty well,” said girls head coach Elizabeth Hoover. “The 4×100 has been strong the last couple of meets, my 4×400 is coming on strong. As far as individual performances I hada couple of the throwers do some great things, my jumpers are hurting a little bit, my runners are hurting a little bit, we’re going to try and rest our legs this week and hopefully come back for next week.”

In the boys meet, senior Alex Kozuhowski was 2nd in the 100m (11.56) and the 200m (23.51). “I think the meet went pretty well,” said co-head coach Matt Hildebrand. “It was really windy out here today so I think some of the athletes were at a disadvantage than others depending on what part of the track you run on and what direction you were throwing. Overall I think the kids did a great job today. Alex ran really well in the 100m and 200m, the relay teams are really gelling, both the boys and the girls, our throwers are making strides every week with their distances going up. That’s where we want to be going into NTL’s next week.”

Both teams are in action on Friday, May 4 at the Coudersport Booster Invite then return home next Tuesday, May 8 for their final regular season meet with North Penn-Mansfield.
