It’s a BBQ Conspiracy!

Welcome to Conspiracy Coffee Co. and My Brother’s BBQ

by Johanna Vogt – November 15, 2017

Conspiracy Coffee Co. and Bakery is a brand new coffee shop and bakery located in downtown Mansfield. They offer everything from bagel sandwiches to fresh coffee to homemade baked goods. Sole Proprietor, Thad Compton, has had the heart for coffee for years – starting from when he used to make coffee from a 1970’s popcorn machine on his front porch.

It all began a couple of decades ago when he bought coffee from a local shop in Mansfield called, “Ten West”. The more he went there, the more he noticed the difference from fresh coffee to store-bought coffee. Little by little, he started seeking out quality coffee wherever he went. He then began reading more about coffee; which then started creeping its way into his heart and mind. Long story short, the coffee making went from his front porch, to his Dad’s garage, to what it is now. Thad is now living his dream and sharing it with others.

Conspiracy Coffee also has partnered with Robert Smith and Jeremie Ressler, creating the other side of this unique restaurant – “My Brothers BBQ”. My Brothers BBQ offers something that can’t be found in the Mansfield/Wellsboro area. They have delicious barbecue; ranging from ribs, wings, and pulled pork; along with comfort and soul food. Robert Smith, co-owner and chef, has been cooking since the age of 15. The inspiration that created this passion came from his Mom, Aunt, and Grandma which continues to this day.

Conspiracy Coffee Co. and Bakery and My Brother’s BBQ are located at 11 West Wellsboro Street in Mansfield. They are open Monday through Sunday from 6:00 AM until 9:00 PM. If you have any questions or would like to know more, you can call them at (570) 463-4150 or by visiting their Facebook pages here: My Brother’s BBQ or Conspiracy Coffee Co.
