How Are You Doing?

by Amiee Jones - April 12, 2018

Every day we ask the question, “How are you doing?” Most often the phrase is posed in a nonchalant way, asked in passing. However, the answer can be more complex. It’s with this idea in mind that New Creation Events, LLC and Wellsboro Bible Church have partnered to prepare their upcoming women’s conference. The conference is titled “How are you doing? – Before your spiritual health dials 911”.

Melissa Owlett, CEO of New Creation Events, LLC, shared that the purpose of the event is for women to be able to take the time to connect with each other, worship, eat, rest, and benefit from quality seminars. It’s a time to stop and answer the question “How am I doing?”

Seasoned speaker, Robyn McKelvy, will be sharing throughout the two-day conference. Janet Sayre shared about her experience hearing Robyn speak at a previous conference: “She just gripped me! She was enthusiastic; she was funny… She has a way of intertwining spiritual truth in with her counseling and her mentoring that makes so much sense.” Robyn is a pastor’s wife, a mother to 10 children, an author, and the teacher of many Bible studies and marriage/family conferences. With 30 years of marriage under her belt, and extensive ministry and life experiences, Robyn is rich with wisdom and insight to share. She will be anchoring her content with the verse that reads, “Taste and see that the Lord is good; blessed is the one who takes refuge in him.” (Psalm 34:8)

The conference will begin Friday, April 27th at 5:00pm, taking place in the Wellsboro High School Auditorium. There will be worship and an evening session with Robyn. Then, Saturday (the 28th), the schedule continues with breakfast, worship, fellowship time, and two more sessions with Robyn, with the conference ending at noon. This will be a great time to get away for some refreshing, and receive a boost of energy in your spiritual walk! Melissa and Janet, along with all of those who have worked alongside them to create this event, encourage you to take advantage of this opportunity to stop, reflect, and grow personally. Take the time to ask, “How am I doing?” before your spiritual health dials 911!
