The Wellsboro Varsity Girls Soccer team took on Troy in the District IV Class AA quarterfinals Thursday night at the Balls Mills Complex in Williamsport.

Troy took a lead midway through the first half as Nicole McClellan gathered a cross kick by Riley McClellan, then snuck it past keeper Sydney Tremper and into the back of the net for to goal. Troy maintained their lead through the half and added a goal 10 minutes into the second half off another Nicole McClellan. This time, McClellan headed in the goal off a Riley McClellan corner to make it 2-0 in favor of the Lady Trojans.
