The Mansfield University Strings Project will be having a recital this weekend. This musical event will take place on May 3 at 2:00pm in the First Presbyterian Church in Wellsboro. Bring your whole family – admission is free for all ages!

Goodies for Our Troops is arranging a “Fill the Goodwill Truck” Fundraiser. They will be accepting donations of used and new clothing, shoes, and boots (preferably in black garbage bags.) Bring your items to the Wellsboro Plaza on East Avenue from 10am to 4pm on May 3rd. Goodies for Our Troops is also holding a packaging event on May 16, 17 at 18 from 1pm – 6pm at their downtown Wellsboro location on Main & Crafton St.

Wellsboro Johnston Airport is hosting their annual Fly-In Breakfast on Sunday, May 25th. This unique event is a great opportunity to enjoy delicious pancakes, admire beautiful airplanes, meet new people and soar in the Tioga County skies! Breakfast is served at 8:00am until 12:00pm.

Every Thursday evening from 6pm – 9pm, (in the First Citizens Community Bank parking lot) is the Tioga County Classic Car Night. Owners and admirers from the area are welcomed to display and appreciate these classic automobiles.

We’ll be presenting our March Photo Contest winner and announcing April’s winner at a special location next Monday! Be sure to take a look at all the beautiful contest submissions.

Wellsboro Home Page will also be providing highlight coverage of the upcoming Susquehannock Trail Performance Rally! This unique racing event takes place every year and brings in drivers and spectators from all over the world. There’s plenty to do and see during this racing weekend! This year’s rally will be held on May 30-31.

Finally, it wouldn’t be summer without outdoor activities! Outdoor Adventures correspondent Tim Morrey will be hosting programs on fly-fishing and hiking in the area. Keep an eye out for these exciting programs coming soon!
