Baskets & Boards: A Double Sports Feature!

This past weekend the Mansfield Tigers faced the Galeton Tigers for the chance to earn a berth to the state tournament. Mansfield trailed for most of the game but were able to force overtime. In overtime Galeton outscored the Tigers 11-0 for a 57-46 victory. With the win Galeton aadvances to states, while the loss ends Mansfield’s run.

Dakota Shadle led the way for Galeton dropping in 23 and 15 from Jake Batterson.

Bo Burleigh had a double-double for Mansfield with 13 points and 11 rebounds. Ryan Campbell added 12.

Home Page Outdoor Correspondent Tim Morey was on location at Ski Sawmill for part 3 of our winter fun series. He spoke with Clayton Reese, the director of ski school at the mountain and asked him about some of the ins and outs of snowboarding.

Reese gave viewers his expert advice on how to go about snowboarding and what steps you should take to becoming an experienced snowboarder.
