Annual Hat Show & Luncheon in Town!

by Sara Vogt - September 10, 2014

For some of us, playing “dress up” was one of our favorite childhood memories. As we grow older, our opportunities to have light-hearted fun seems limited. The good news is – on October 11th, starting at noon and lasting until 2:00pm – The Fifth Season presents the fourth annual hat show with Christine Moore. This will be a time of relaxation, laughter, and an opportunity to enjoy great food from The Red Skillet. Christine is a renown hat designer who has worked hard at her craft of millinery and has achieved notable recognition for her designs. She is the official hat designer of the Triple Crown and many well-known people choose to wear her hats.

She loves to come to Wellsboro and The Fifth Season for the hat show because some of her fondest childhood memories are in Tioga County. She is also creating new ones – (find out about them by watching one of our previous stories, here.) At the hat show there will be a three course meal catered by the Red Skillet, free gifts, hat-wearing and an opportunity to win a Christine A. Moore hat!

Christine will also be demonstrating how they create the hats at the millinery. Come and bring your friend, mom, sister, aunt, neighbor or whomever you want for an afternoon that you will remember with smiles! For more information on ordering your tickets you can call (570) 724-6910 or visit The Fifth Season on Main Street in Wellsboro.
