Bring your family to Blossburg to celebrate the season on November 29, from 4-8pm as Blossburg V.I.B.E presents the third annual “Small Town Christmas in Blossburg.” Main street will be closed for the event and lined with food and craft vendors, an ice sculpting demo, ice skating, money wheel, Christmas tree sales, and more! This year, a new feature will be held – the FROSTY 5K run! The race will begin at 9:00am. Following the 5K will be a kids snowflake run for ages 3-5 and 6-8 at 10:45am.

The Blossburg Memorial Library will be hosting a tree lighting ceremony at 7:15pm at the tree by the green bridge. The reading of the “Polar Express” will be at 5:00pm, along with hot chocolate, fudge, and kids activities.

Spice up your holiday season with the chili cook-off. Public tasting, from 4-5:30pm, will determine the champion.

The Victoria Theater is having a free showing of “A Christmas Story” (sponsored by Ward Manufacturing.) Show times will be 3:00 and 8:00pm. “A Charlie Brown Christmas” will be playing throughout the event between the previous showings. The theater’s famous popcorn and candy will be for sale.

Decades of Beauty Hair & Nail Salon is hosting pictures with Santa by Julie Nowak. Each child will receive a special gift from Santa. You can also drop off your letter to the North Pole! For family pictures, make sure to stop by MRC Jones Associates and let Loretta’s Photography capture this memory.

Stop by Toddler U to make “reindeer food.” They will also be having free Christmas cookie decorating.

The Brick Tavern will be hosting Wine and Design. Stop in to paint an assortment of holiday pictures and enjoy the Christmas Carolers.

Blossburg V.I.B.E. will also be hosting a food drive for the Matthew 25 food pantry. You will find large wrapped boxes on either side of Main Street available for you to place non-perishable items.
